Join Déu-n'hi-do culinary trip curated by Authentic Wine through Catalonia. Enjoy natural wines from Roussillon and Priorat and discover Catalan wine culture. The main purpose of Deunhido.voyage is to have a good time by exploring the beautiful natural environment, drinking delicious natural wines, eating fresh products of the Mediterranean Sea, and tasting unique local gems like olive oil, sea-salt, and vinegar.

Why we love this experience

  • Natural Ecosystem:

Every wine on this trip comes from producers held to a strict, non-negotiable standard: biodynamic or organic viticulture, no chemicals in the vineyard, no bought-in grapes, only indigenous yeasts, minimal filtration and sulphites.

  • Culture:

There's a real thread of Catalan identity running through the trip, told with more specificity than most wine tours bother with. Visits to a sea-salt producer, an artisanal vinegar maker, and a porcelain factory widen the frame slightly beyond wine alone. Two of the six dinners happen inside winemakers' own homes and estates, where guests hear directly from the people farming this unforgiving, beautiful terrain about what the work has actually cost and given them.

  • Community:

every winery on this route is small enough that none of them have their own wine-tourism staff — visiting them at all depends on someone like Ilias making the introduction. He describes the trip explicitly as filling that gap, giving tiny, family-run producers a way to receive serious, respectful visitors without needing to build hospitality infrastructure they don't have the scale for.

  • Rhythm:

Currently running once a year, with Ilias hoping to grow to six departures as demand allows; private groups can be arranged on request. October is the preferred month specifically to catch harvest season and the landscape at its best. At this scale, "occasional and personal" is what experience represents, more than a simple "commercial tour product."
